For surfaces with less than five layers of paint or varnish, a second coat may not be necessary. After the product has penetrated the substrate, simply scrape it off and use a scrubbing brush or stainless steel pad with water to remove any remaining residue. Rinse with clean water and allow the surface to dry.

Enviromose is also effective in removing tar or bitumen. Simply apply a thick layer of the gel and cover it with plastic to prevent it from drying out too quickly. After a minimum of four hours (ideally overnight), the tar or bitumen can be easily removed.
